    I don't see why not. it doesn't have anything to hold an xray onto it though so just keep that in mind.

    Definitely not. I ordered one to use as a film light box and this is not what you are looking for. It is basically some LEDs that shine sideways through a piece of perspex. The perspex has an opaque patterned surface on it, which you can kind of see on the second product photo. The light does not shine directly up through the surface and then through the film/xray so you can't actually see an image on film.

    Instead, search for "dental light box" and you'll find something that will do a much better job.
