Found out EB Games are giving away codes via a receipt to get a Shiny Solgaleo or Lunala for the Gen 7 3DS games.
According to Serebii the event ends this Friday.
Not sure if anyone is still playing these games but it's a good time to get hyped for the upcoming Sword and Shield releases.
Wait what - you mean to say that the legendaries from past games do not exist canonically in the Sword and Shield story or no references in any way??!
I played it for about two hours, discovered I didn’t want to learn new things, then never touched it again. I really should go back to it.
I already sold my copy… I finished it but wasn't a fan of the island style. Looking forward to new release though.

I just went to today, the guy thought it was still going but when it tried to print the code on a receipt it didn't work. If they have cards you should be fine but if it's only codes in a receipt you'll probably be out of luck.
Yeah went two days ago, and they didn't have any left… T_T

Would be great if they could be traded up to Sword and Shield. Too bad none of the legendary Pokémon (except Mew) from past games made the cut
