The price of Sony lenses - even after discount still seem far too high. similarly spec canon or nikon lenses only cost half as much.

  Yes they are because there’s not as many on the market. I picked up the sigma 10-20 3.5 for Nikon for only $350, this is about 3 times the price

I’m not sure if there is a big difference between the stores but it’s cheaper at Digidirect at the moment, only $864.45 and no Amex required.

Thanks - I picked up a GoPro 8 for $539 less $50 (Amex offer) so $489. Will be traveling overseas soon so can get the TRS off as well!
