I am looking for ways to get into US airport lounges during my upcoming trip. I have an AMEX explorer card, so get to use the fantastic lounge at Melbourne airport but US Amex lounges are generally limited to Centurion holders. Are there any good ways to get lounge access to these?
The airports I will be visiting are:
LAX - Terminal 1
SFO - Intl terminal
HNL - Terminal 2
Very open to getting a new credit card of it helps.
If you are flying United you can buy a pass. Fairly ordinary lounge but is a lounge with some free food, drink and alcohol (usually a crap beer and a crap champagne).
You are visiting USA to use their lounges?
Priority pass looks like they have lounges for all those airports

$150 a year access to loads of airport lounges in US & Worldwide.
I think you can add a second cardholder for $30 so thats $90 a person per year. Cheaper than PAYG after 2-3 visits.
