Kids shoes sizes change frequently. $45 every year or every 18 months isn't a bargain expense for a quality that the larger section of society generally wants. Sure, I am not referring to parents who pay thousands per year to send their kids to private schools.
Suitable for work or school only?
When I was a kid I remember wishing my parents would let me go to school in flip flops and just give me the cash to buy what I want with the money saved over.. of course I never said anything and went to school in very nice shoes or at least whatever my parents bought me and just dreamt at school all day of all the things I could buy if my parents had done the one thing that all parents really never ever ever do.. and that is talk to your children.. maybe in a few generations time this will be the norm for my kind of parents but for now it is just ignore your child and decide what is best for them not ask them what they want and go from there.
To each their own but in my use case I could of made them very rich very quickly had they even spoken to me once or twice the right questions or asked the right stuff because as a kid I was very tuned in more so than now.
Now age is slowly crippling me and I feel weaker and more feebler as the days go on but some days I jump back but definitely from like age 8 years and on wards until maybe age 19 there was potential for something amazing just didn't have the time or funds.. mostly funds at the younger ages but as life creeps up on you time starts to erode away and now my actual mental health and physical health is starting to go by the wayside now too.. ah well
