Hi all,
I was wondering what SD cards people use for their phone.
Currently, I have an SD card (SD Ultra 32gb) set as sd disk on my phone. (Can't install apps)
I was thinking of adding a 128 or 256g card and formatting it to basically function as extra storage where I can install apps etc.
I'm thinking of getting SD Ultra or Samsung Evo Pro as they seem to be the quickest.
What do you use/recommend?

Dont buy a sandisk ultra (imho).
I had a 64gb sandisk ultra in my phone, it died after a year (fortunately it went into a read-only mode so i could save my data).
I bought a 128gb sandisk ultra after that. It also died (loss of all data dead) after about a year.
I bought a 128gb samsung evo select. After getting this card i realised all the slowdowns and issues i had with my s7 edge and s9 plus were not the phones fault, but the sandisk cards fault.
I used to have weird issues with slow wakeup from lock and the photo gallary app was painfully slow. All fixed with the samsung card.
Samsung Evo, don't think about the rest.

what is the maximum size SD card your mobile can have?

I would buy a Samsung Evo
I use SD Ultra in all my devices including dash cams, rated class 10 and supports transfer speeds of up to 80 MB per second.
Never had issues.
Best of all they are reasonably cheap.
