I didn't.
I placed my order instore on 18/10 and collected phone 24/10. I was travelling after that so didn't get to check for SMS with the gift card til 3 days ago. No JB SMS. Called the store yesterday morning, shuffled from department to department, and was finally told a manager would call head office and get it resolved.
Nothing happened.
Called today and asked for the manager. This guy was responsive, called me back after 10 minutes and said he wasn't there yesterday but would fix it. Got my details, emailed me a copy of my receipt (I'd complained how hard the cash register ones were to read) and a little later forwarded me an internal email he had sent following up. Seems there are multiple complaints starting about this.
I'd better get it Monday. I go back to work Wednesday and that's near the store. I would have little patience by then if it isn't resolved, and would take this to Google, and small claims tribunal. But this guy seemed to be actively following up. Let's hope.
