Which planes are being used for the flights?
It’s weird. If you click on the link, it says Airbus A330. But I didn’t know they have flights between Manila to New York. Unless it includes stopover in LAX or SFO, for which they use B777.
I think you’re referring to Airbus A320. On the contrary, A330 is a larger aircraft and Jetstar doesn’t have any of these. It can fly 10+ hours but definitely not for Trans Pacific flight between AU and US.
Seconded. Jetstar have a total of 0 A330s
I wonder if the people who negged really know what they are looking at? On the same page they advertised when running to Europe on a business class they're using the Dreamliner 787 and A350. So which one are you getting? https://www.traveldream.com.au/international-tours/business-…. Different planes for a different route?
The people who negged know the difference between narrow body and wide body airplane. Something you need to learn.
Well this is what I've seen for the business class seats on the A330. If you're happy to pay that much for something like this then good on you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiZOnJOstds
Not sure what you're on about, A330 are wide-body long haulers. Qantas has their best business class product on A330s and has for some time now.
You honestly have no idea what youre talking about
Have you ever flown in an airplane?
A330 is a wide body plane.
Your reference to Garuda is useless unless you want to show from outside how the plane looks like.
The actual business seating is largely independent on the aircraft and depends on the airline.
You can have exactly the same seats in A330 as in A350 in the business class.
For Philippine Airlines you can look for example here: https://iwandered.net/philippine-airlines-new-a330-business-…
Jetstar stopped using the A330 in 2015.
All the A330's were transferred to Qantas.
I think it is the a350 as it has the needed payload and range for the long trek (mnl to jfk). The good thing is the A350s are relatively new.
On the Australia to Manila routes, the a330/a321neo are used
If it is the 350 that's a different class and it'd be worth it. I've seen the layout of the a330 when travelling with Garuda https://www.google.com/search?q=which+airbus+is+used+by+garu… and the business class seats is a just a wider recliner chair with an armrest. Doesn't look too enticing at all.
I flew Philippine Airlines A350-900 to JFK in economy. Really nice economy hard product. Beautiful plane. Business class looks great as well.
Manila is a crap airport… and you have to transfer from terminal T2 to T1 for this.
I had another look, it seems like you are able to lay down though. Maybe this long distance one is different.
PAL planes usually assigned to these routes:
Melbourne to Manila: Airbus A330
Sydney to Manila: Airbus A321 Neo/Airbus A330
Manila to New York: Airbus A350
What’s the normal price ? How much savings ? Hang on , do I need to save ?
Wow. That's awesome. Plus vote for Brisbane in future please Philippine Airlines!
not bhed good soize
