      This if you want cheap, LIFX if you want expensive. I been been using these for the last 2 years. They are fantastic. I have them working with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. I also believe you can get them working with Apple Home via Homebridge.

      These in my opinion. I bought up a stack of early LIFX globes and had nothing but problems for ages. Switched over to Yeelights and they're been fine. Not quite as bright maybe, but rock solid from an automation point of view.

        I had problems with my early LIFX bulbs and LIFX sent out replacements even though they were just outside the warranty. They didn't want the old ones back either. The new ones have been great.

        i have a few lifx bulbs and they are much brighter than other brands i have. but yea they are more expensive

      If you grab this 4core 0.3mm 5 metre cable and cut up these male to female connectors and then with a bit of soldering and heat shrink you should be able to make your own extension cable for around $15 or so. I hope someone can advise if voltage/current drop won't be an issue with the length of cable.
