Yep, one Amazon review stated the same. Each pack has a best before period and once lapsed it becomes hard and brittle.
Funnily enough it hardened well before it's BB date

I am a fan of Sugru, by keeping it in the fridge I've extended the useable life to at least a year beyond the best-before. In true OzB fashion though, I give you an alternative at a much better price, Kintsuglue is ~$8 for 3x5g packets. I didn't get quite the same finish on this as Sugru, but seems to do the same job.

Have used this before and it's pretty good for the price too if you don't want to wait for shipping or want easy returns etc.
Sugru is a great product when it works… But disappointed it hardens when unopened. Last time I bought an 8 pack and used two. Within 6 months all remaining packs had set, unopened, and were useless.
