55 Inch TV - Android TV Vs Smart TV - Hisense Vs TCL?

Tossing up which 55 inch TV to buy with these 20% off deals on eBay.
I can get this series 6 Hisense on eBay for $580 https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/hisense-55r6-series-6-55-…

Or the series G which seems very similiar https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/hisense-55rg-series-g-55-… however this one is Android TV and the series 6 isn’t. Does anyone have opinions on the android tv OS and whether it would be better than the normal smart tv in the series 6.

As well as this, any noticeable comparisons with the TCL P8M range?

    I've got a sony tv with android and it's shit - slow and laggy, unresponsive. It is about 4 years old though, so might have improved since then

    Android TV software is buggy (Depend on what you want to do with the TV, you might have to do your own research). Personally, I have a problem with my TCL tv not recognize NTFS external hard drive and it drives me crazy.
