I just had my tax returns done a few days ago on very last min and day, would this effect my refund? I know that it normally takes two weeks, but has there been situations that it can take one week? I heard sometimes It can be faster/slower?

Most process in 7 days. If it takes any longer it may be because they're performing checks on different government agencies (i.e. Centrelink for Childcare Subsidy debts) or there's something that they're manually amending.
I just received my assessment today, exactly 7 calendar days after lodging online.
Got mine in just two days, faster than everyone has mentioned .
