Camera Backpacks or Similar - Where Can I Find a Cheap High Quality One?

I'm looking for a camera backpack to hold microphones and other audio gear for field recording. I'm looking around and there tends to be a lot of them available on ebay etc for very cheap ($20-$40 range) which I wouldn't trust with my expensive gear, but then there are the well known brands like Lowepro etc that go for a few hundred dollars. Given i'm not actually a photographer I really only care about having my stuff well protected, so if I can get something that has compartments, padding, bit of structure and is somewhat waterproof i'm happy. Any recommendations for what I might go for or where I might get it?

The ideal would be a factory seconds option, but I haven't been able to find such a thing.

    Amazon branded camera bags tend to get good reviews.
    If you have an escape2 near you might be worth checking out. Last time i was there they had some great quality blackwolf camera bags at a really good price point.

    Second hand is usually your best bet with these sort of things. Have a look on Gumtree, plenty of people getting rid of camera bags for cheap.

    Where are you located? If Vic, I would highly recommend going to Michaels and talk to them about your needs. They have a variety of options and should find something in the midpoint of $40 and $400.

    Alternatively, something second hand on gumtree or through a photographer Facebook page.

    Where are you? I have a Lowepro you can have for free if nearby, it's not a "backpack" though.

    There's a lot of Lowepro fakes on the market. So be careful of that. A few months ago dcxpert cleared out a lot of Lowepro bags at half price when they stopped being a distributor.

    One of my main backpacks right now is Vanguard Veo Discover 46. $68 on dcxpert eBay right now.
