Ibuki Flinders Lane - closed down. Time to request for refunds from Deals.com.au

Hi guys,
Heads up… I "heard" in on of the other forum topics (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/42582) that Ibuki Restaurant at Flinders Lane may have closed down. I tried to ring them today to make a booking (against all odds) and the phone was disconnected. I've asked for a refund from Deals.com.au and they agreed to do a refund for the voucher (that expires in November).

So, if you have the voucher and didn't get a chance to use it, be sure to request for a refund, ASAP. Would be a shame if you tried to request for a refund, after the voucher "expires" and they turn you down.

    They won't give you a refund, but they seem pretty happy to give you store credit. I had a similar problem with a different deal.

    they asked for my bank details etc… so I'm definitely getting a refund.

    They've also given me a refund for the diamond cleaning group fiasco before in the past… am quite happy that they are at least fair in that regard.
