    Anti-gravity? wtf

    • Yea I think it’s where the hip supports push fairly solidly on your hips and it makes the bag feel much lighter… at least I think that’s what it is.

No, it is the mesh system the back that keeps the actual bag slightly away from your body.

Good bags, I got one of these.

I desperately would like one of these but this would be my third osprey and it would be very difficult to rationalize this to my wife since I don't even fly anymore. One of the best backpacks around. A bargain

A backpack that supports Dolby Atmos, nice

    • I can agree that when I hike with this pack it "sounds" like I'm really in the mountains. If I close my eyes it's like I'm on a trail. Sound comes from everywhere!

The AG systems is very comfortable but most of all VERY BREATHABLE! The least sweaty pack I have ever owned - and I have owned a few in my decades hiking and travelling.

I had one of the earlier versions of the Atmos but it squeaked in the harness as I walked. I lived with it for a few years but it got worse, so I contacted their customers support. They organised the shipping, inspected it and identified I had an issue some of the earliest units had and sent me a new model for free. Very good service - I did not even have a receipt!

We have 4 osprey packs in our household now. We hiked the Camino de Santiago (800km) with two of them (smaller than the Atmos). They were great.

Had 9 years with my current Atmos, it’s held up to anything asked of it and is structurally as good as new. They’re the perfect travel and trekking bag.
