I seem to remember last year you could combine/stack this with another offer. I tried to search but can't find what it was, does anyone remember?

Haha - the only times I think of going out to see movies…

    • Oh didn't it used to only be after 5pm on Saturday. Now they included Friday in the exclusion as well?

damn, hoyts need to step it up

    • They got bragging rights with their leather reclining chairs :(

  • Is there a direct link for Village?

Also, the terms indicate VIC is excluded?

Not a Telstra customer and the Telstra link won't work :-(

  • Any booking fee?

    • Yes, for online.

  • So if you are not a Telstra customer how can you log in to obtain this deal? Do you need to buy a Telstra sim?

  • Got it to work on my mobile eventually by registering as a new customer using chrome. A few glitches with PayPal for one but got it through eventually. Can’t find the tickets in my account yet though so have sent them a message.

  • Can you use to watch brand new releases? Generally they are exempt.

    • You should be able to. It's not a free ticket.

  • Anyone got the direct link to Village?

  • logged in and this is the link

Anyone in other States interest to buy, plz let me know…

    • Hey there; do you still have your Event vouchers? I accidentally bought the Village tickets lol.

      • Sorry for late reply.. I managed to get rid of it..

  • Telstra is now working for Village vouchers

Village access is up and running…. I think even non Telstra customers may be able to purchase from the below link: https://shop.villagecinemas.com.au/Christmas-Gift-Ideas/Tels…

    • Tried but getting frequent errors from Village site about incorrect details. All the details are although correct. Has anyone been able to buy the same ? If yes, which browser, what settings. Kindly share.

My transaction went through fine and have received tickets….. mind you I am with Telstra and used my BigPond email address? But using my link above allowed me to go direct to the Village order screen so I didn’t have to log in via Telstra….

        • Thanks. I am with Telstra too and went via bigpond site but everytime getting error "We're sorry, but there seems to be a problem with the payment method you have tried. Be sure to check your details to ensure they are correct. If you are certain that your details are correct, please contact our customer service team at [email protected]. We apologise for any inconvenience caused"

Not sure why. Tried all different cards but no luck. Will try maybe tomorrow.

@sunnynsitian: This is an ongoing issue with buying tickets/vouchers from Village online.

It won't matter what card you use…it will just start working again later on.

Frustrating when trying to select seats…payment fails then those seats become unavailable until it eventually times out.

            • @camwri: Thanks for confirming. Yes it's so frustrating. Tried again with no luck. Almost giving up now.

          • @sunnynsitian: Using my link above I just purchased another set of 10 vouchers directly with Village…. just added them to the cart, go to checkout, out in my details and card details and done?

FYI, this lot I just purchased by using my mobile and via the mobile site… if that’s any help?

Worked fine for me. Chrome on Mac. Thanks @kirock81

  • Got mine Thanks

  • I was thinking of giving these away as tickets for Christmas. Are they pdfs? Or, is there a way to separate them and give them out individually by printing off something?

    • Yes. They come as 10 pages PDF document.

  • Tried few of the evouchers but it keeps saying that it is not valid. Did anyone experience the same issue ?

    • Can’t use until January

  • Bought thanks… didnt receive any confirmation email until 30 minutes of purchase.. thankfully I downloaded the pdf on the success page.

  • I checked how many movies I watched in 2019 and bought it. A pretty good deal.

Mine actually came as 10 separate emails with each having a unique barcode. (It looks like they'll come as 10 emails if you buy the vouchers directly from the event gift shop)

So buy from Telstra if you want a PDF.
Or buy from Event Gift Shop if you want them in separate emails with the barcodes.

The end result should still be the same with them delivering 10 barcodes to you. I just personally find it easier to delete/read the emails so I know what vouchers I've used.
