Hi everyone,

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the Wilson Pro Staff 97L BOLD Racquet. Is it a good buy and is it good for a beginner? Thanks.

  I would say it's good for a beginner. Look for head size at least 97 and unstrung weight no higher than 300. String it up with some synthetic gut or multifilament and it's good to go.
  
  Only caveat is that there was a separate, cheaper deal for the normal paintjob version recently on eBay.
