Worth at this price but definitely not worth $14

      People want ducks

    • Yep, I've had these before. They're acceptable. The boneless ones are better - but probably not on special as everyone buys those.

As sonu1111 definitely worth it when on sale/reduced but I wouldn't pay $14.

    • yes, they are pretty good. I prefer buying the duck breasts but when I see on special I will happily buy these.

Not sure when the deal is finished.

    your post says 5 Nov

    • because I need to put a date…I assume

      • -3

        Nope, it's optional.

  • These were the same price on Tuesday. I managed to get the last one at my local store before they sold out.

They have a use by date of a few months even though they aren't frozen, they are vacuum sealed.

    • You tried? Good?

      • +1

Pretty nice for $7 but I wouldn't pay $14. They are already cooked so they only take 15 minutes to reheat in the oven.

        • Good to know. Thx :)

Buy a whole duck when on special, a confit yourselves.
    easy and delicious.
Roast some potatoes in the duck fat, add garlic and rosemary.
    Winning

    • Whole ducks here (in WA) are only available frozen. Still nice for roasting, but not as nice as fresh. Giving these a try.

It's alright, buy frozen, let it thaw then separate the legs and the breasts from the carcass.
Confit the legs in fat and cook the breast on its skin then like a steak.

Rich Duck Poor Duck. Published in 1997, it advocates the importance of financial literacy, financial independence and building wealth through investing in assets.

  • These are excellent. Can't seem to find them at my local Coles anymore. My local Woolworths never stocked it and still don't. Might have to go for a bit of a drive to stock up. Pop it in the airfryer for a quick meal.

  • good deal. quack!!

  • Oh, would check the nearby woolies tomorrow.
This is good at this price, Roast it up and enjoy.

  • Also the breasts are $9.50 at coles if anyone is interested. Only 380grams though.

  • Nice pairing with my indomee
