when lottoland first came to australia, I thought it was a way to buy a lottery ticket into one of those huge european draws,
I dont recall buying any tickets, but I setup an account, that ive never used since,
today I get this
Dear Elton John,
We would like to remind you that, in line with our terms and conditions, customers who have been inactive on their accounts for a period of more than 12 months are subject to administration fees.
Since your account has been inactive for over one year, these fees would apply to your account.
These fees will be deducted from your Lottoland account balance until it reaches $0 or until your account is active again. Your bank will not be charged.
If your account remains inactive for a period of more than 28 days from today, a $10 per month administration fee will be applied for every month after 12 months of inactivity. Fees will be applied to your account on the 27th November.
You currently hold a balance of $1.15, yet before we apply any fees, we would love for you to come back and see how much Lottoland has changed since you last visited us. We only charge inactive accounts, so you can log in now, verify your identity to withdraw your funds or bet on any of our wide range of Jackpots and avoid any administration fees.
TLDR: lottoland charge up to $10 per month admin fees for inactive accounts, BE CAREFUL
ill be closing mine, if they let me
Withdraw your money.
How do you propose Lottoland deals with inactive accounts with lots of money?
For banks, it's worst as they give ALL your money to government after 5(?) years of inactivity IIRC.
