Finally used my Google Rewards credit I've been saving up! Thanks OP!

    • I've got $27.65. Is this a contest and if not, why not?

      • My balance is $40.86. Apparently I've earned $218.57 but the surveys have dried up since I changed phones.

  • Buy it! You have nothing to regret, well controls are easier on console (for me anyway). But buy it! Let your inner farmer come out of the croploset (bad joke I'll get back to farming now)

    • I still haven't bought it yet but I think it'd be good for the shield.

    • me with terraria and stardew valley. unfortunately i bought them and after 15 mins of playing i just got bored of it :(

Bit of a learning curve to Stardew I think… I'll give it another go when I have more time.

    • If the Switch version was this cheap, I'd buy it (even though I already own it on Steam), but I'm not sure I'd want to deal with those touchscreen controls.

      • PS4 controller support on iOS now.
And then you can AirPlay mirror it to your tv if you have an Apple TV.

        • Alas, Android user… I know I'm but a root away from controller use in any game, but it's a hassle. Plus I take my Switch a lot more places than I'm likely to take a controller to go with my phone.

@Slashee the Cow: Don't Bluetooth controllers work on Android?

            • @Diji1: Yes but the game has to support it or else you'd probably need to use root to emulate touches from a controller (or maybe you can do it without root these days, I haven't done it in a while)
checks Stardew Valley oh it does support controllers natively… I still don't have a grip to hold my phone with a controller though.

  • No multiplayer right?

    • There is definitely multiplayer for PC and consoles, but I am unsure about mobile

      • Switch?

        • Stardew Valley definitely has multiplayer on the Switch now. It had the v1.3 multiplayer update since about December last year.

      From the play store:

Note: Features new 1.3 update story content, multiplayer functionality not supported. No in-app purchases.

  • This this similar to 3ds animal crossing? If so,which is better?

    • +2

It's more similar to Harvest Moon with its focus on farming.

Great value. I've sunk over 200 hours into this game already and I still play it from time to time. It's very relaxing.

  • I am not sure if mods work on mobile, but on PC the game becomes a lot more enjoyable after adding 2 mods (the deluxe auto grabber and automate), from not having enough time in the day to do anything but the basics, it switched to having too much time.
