Anyone seen any good deals around at the moment for a JR Rail Pass? Will need 2x 7 day full passes.

You're not going to find any deals on JR Passes barring few dollars exchange rate difference.

  I find this chainof reasonably priced business hotels good. Most are conveniently located right next to train stations and a have prominent large sign that is easy to see.
