JumpOn It Voucher Redemption Issue - Poor/non existent customer service

Bought a couple of vouchers for lunch at Cafe Berkelouw in Paddington.The Cafe however has been closed during part of the redemption period. I found out that it will re-open soon with new management.I have sent two emails to Jump On It customer service with absolutely no response. Their site says they will respond within the next day. I wanted to know if there was any refund or extention of the redemption period due to the Cafe's closing.
Anyway there is some good news for voucher buyers who couldn't use their coupons. I then contacted Berkelouw's Bookshop direct who told me that when the Cafe re-opens they will extend the redemption period of the voucher.
I will not be buying anymore vouchers from Jump On It as this is yet another example of a coupon company that apparently doesn't give a stuff about its customers if there is an issue with coupon redemption( didn't even bother to reply).
But good on you Berkelouws for honouring the Coupon when the cafe re-opens!

    i got someone in mins and they were able to help me with the refund.

    just a suggestion if u still want to try for a refund.

    Was on the phone at the same time which took longer, didnt bother with email.

      Wow - a phone number for a group buying site? I know where my dollars are going!

  • I'm really surprised to hear this. I have always been able to contact Jump On It with fast responses either by phone or live chat, and their customer service has been outstanding.

    • I agree. Give them another try. Or at least don;t bag them toooo much. There are worse GBS.

  • Well I've tried them twice in a week via their support email form on their site - anyway I'll give them a call tomorrow.
    I do appreciate that Berkelouws were responsive tho'. Thanks for your advice.

  • Just to follow up - when I phoned them JOI issued a refund for the unused voucher. They said there had been a problem with their online customer service message system.

  • They gave me a refund in a matter of minutes with their chat system.
