The hype is mostly over, there is probablt too few aussies playing at this point for a broad playerbase.
Plenty of players, I play most nights are our group can usually run two squads, at a time (so still a popular choice). Try to do duo or solo though and you might have a wait to get into an OC server.
Playing solo or squad is almost impossible on OC server now. You try to find a server then after 2 mins game asks you if you want to divert/include other servers, in which case there are plenty of players outside OC.
@xtraricepls: Think you're confusing squad and duos mate. Squad is almost always instant where duos can be a few mins wait during peak.
@Tacooo: Can confirm. Since the update about 3 or so months ago its been less that 20s before I'm in a match in both solo squad and duo squad… without Chinese, and much much lower pings (120ms before, about 30-35ms average now).
