Have fun porting to Boost!
Run, Forrest, run!! ….
This should have come out earlier.
So should Tom Cruise
Is boost mobile any good? Need a new number, no port in.
Not up to telstra levels in terms of rural coverage but should be good in urban areas.
Thanks! Thinking of getting one but not too sure haha
Thought they used the full Telstra network?
You'd be kidding yourself if telstra were to give up their biggest advantage.
@ATangk: " Boost is unique among MVNOs in that it’s the only one to use the full Telstra network. "
Apparently, they just dont get the full 4GX speeds and are restricted to 100mbps
@pastapins: On this Boost plan right now and I've been getting more than 120mbps. Not sure if the 100mbps cap is true. Anyone have experience with the 100mbps cap?
@bluegreen672: I get 400Mbps on Boost with iPhone 8.
@ATangk: Boost has full 4G Telstra Retail coverage. Doesn't get 4GX, nor 5G, but a hell of a lot more coverage than other MVNOs who only get access to Telstra Wholesale network.
@aleayr: Isn't 4GX just Band 28 (700 MHz) 4G?
@twister292: Might be as pastapins said above, and 4GX speeds capped. It's unique in that it's Telstra Retail rather than wholesale :)
I just saw an article that says that too!
I was waiting for a deal with a long date expiry, that way I can run down my Lebara deal before making the switch
Better off: Sign up to JB pixel 4 deal sell phone for min $800 put all into bill, will have $179 remaining over 12m & a 60gb per month telstra mobile sim plan
Doubt you’d sell it for $800
Why? new release $1049 rrp, be surprised if you couldn’t get $800, even worse case $700, would have $279 remaining for 60gb sim plan
You mean $79 remaining.
@ozhunter68: 979 - 800 = $179
979 - 700 = $279@RogueWolf: Sorry, my bad.
Hey OP, I’m porting from Telstra to boost in 2 days. Boost has sent me a blank SIM card to port over to them. I planned on getting $300 12montj credit when the porting is complete to boost. Can I purchase this and use it as credit without using the actual SIM card?
Isn't Telstra 300 better deal than boost 300 where you have international travelling credit
thanks to OP i just brought one
This is soldout
I've never seen this on discount before.
