So what's the general thing about this cookie business?
Should I:
Clear cookies before I use MoneyBackCo to purchase items?
Thanks

I use Firefox primarily but when using Moneyback I use IE with cleared cookies. Even then it doesn't work some of the time. I've just given up trying to get the money back from moneyback. If it works great, if not no big deal.
For more info on the Why and Wherefore of missing transactions take a look [here](https://secure.moneybackco.com/news.php?threadid=86 "Missing transactions - the why and wherefore").
Certainly a dedicated browser seems to be the best option, although unfortunately nothing is guaranteed.
We have approached all the affiliate networks we work with to see if we can improve enquiry resolutions. We will keep you updated with any developments.
Cheers, Steve.
Thanks guys, big help :)
In theory — not necessary. You don't really need to clear cookies before going to MoneyBackCo. However, it is best to go directly to the merchant website after getting redirected through MonetBackCo, instead of browsing around because you might "catch" other cookies and override the one you got from MoneyBackCo.
The best practise is to use a dedicated web browser for buying online, and don't use that browser to surf, so there's less change of catching other cookies and override the one coming from MoneyBackCo. For example you can use Opera or Portable Firefox.
