Officeworks Clearance Items

Hi all

There seem to be quite a few bargains on officeworks' website at the moment but when I tried to buy them a message appeared that these items could not be backordered. Is that because they have run out online? I'm assuming that its in stock in a store somewhere hence still appearing online.

There's a few items I really want and I was just wondering if anyone has tried asking their local store to search for other stores that have stock and get it transferred in. Also can they transfer stock from interstate? Thanks in advance

    I don't think they will bother for a clearance item. But why don't you ask and report back?

    I rang up those clearance items are online only and not stocked instore.
    I tried to buy too and same thing happened so i assume theyre out of stock

    Yep, and the most annoying thing is that it makes you go through the ENTIRE process before they bother to let you know that it's out of stock.

    My advice: the most trouble you should go in looking for the clearance item would be your closest Officeworks, if you can't find it there just don't bother anywhere else.

    i have managed to get a few good deals out of their clearance, lately though, seems nothing is available. its like a mirage. You see it, the too good price is there - but you just can't get it
