  Why would we use the dry version? Does it actually do anything other than gives nice smell? Wouldn't we need our hair to be washed with water at some day with the normal shampoo?

    They're not a replacement for wet washing your hair but more to extend the time between washes. They reduce the oil/grease in your hair, not just make it smell nice.

      Yep thats right! Its great if you have oily hair, and shower once night, next night its a little oily & you're going out. I just spray a bit, let it sit before I shake it out & bam. Not oily anymore, smells great and ready for the night.

          @yht: Its incredible, I love it. And this one gives a bit of volume too, its normally more expensive than the standard Batiste Dry Shampoo :)

    I'm a guy and use it. I only wash my hair with water once a week. I have short hair and find even with small amount of product in my hair after using dry shampoo my hair looks and feels like I just got out of shower.

    It basically absorbs all the excess oil and makes hair look thicker and smell nice as you have correctly pointed out.

    The only bad thing is that it leaves a white residue sometimes in your hair and on your clothes. There are other brands that have an invisible finish

      Spot on! Everything about your comment is correct! I have basically black long hair, so agree with the white residue but can normally shake it out. Batiste also have a brunette one which I've started using and its better for the residue part, but not too much different.

      I'm happy with whatever is cheapest :)

  Someone in another deal posted about the Target "Girlz Only" brand which is about $3.70 and entioned it's good stuff too if you run out of Baptiste in between the half price sales.

  I'm gonna give it a try next time, but that's a steal at that price

    Seems pretty decent actually, the standard pricing is as below. They even have the ones for brunettes, blondes & no-residue. I like the sounds of that!
