        Hi tinkko you can do a multi focal on that frame but it's best to go to your optometrist for that. You can take the frames to them and they'll fit the lenses for you.

        There are two prescription lens choices - match original lens colour or polarised. What is the colour of the polarised lenses?

      Why no deal?

      Maui Jim with authentic prescription lens cost $1000 plus.

      I am still not 100% sure they use authentic lenses as the wording on the website is a little vague. Maui I’m are made in USA and not Australia.

        We don't fit Maui Jim lenses, either Zeiss, Essilor or Nikon, all of which are quality lenses. These are fitted locally.
        We can match the colour you want.
        Lenses are not discounted however are already well priced.

    PSA - just rang Maui Jim's Australia office to enquire about the lenses.

    They told me that iframes aren't supplied by them - saying that they could be stolen, damaged, 2nd hand etc, and they won't warrant any goods purchased from them

    Also, if a lens other than theirs is fitted in (per store rep's post) then it voids the warranty.

    If this is the case, the recourse is with iframes, which is going out of business …. so caveat emptor…

    Am also negging for "No returns on sale items.." is illegal per here, here, here and here

        We do not purchase from Maui Jim Australia directly, we purchase via wholesalers. This is pretty common in many industries.

        We expect to be sold out of all stock within the next week or 2.
