Some nice bubbles for Christmas at $40 a bottle

    • How is that $40 per bottle?

      • Less $150 worth of rewards points.

        • Ahh yes. Thought you had some magic code!!

        • Eh, woolies dollars isn’t the same as real cash though so can’t do a straight up price reduction, need to discount it by at the very least 5%

  • Bought 6 packs of Penfolds Bin 28, and 6 packs of other cheap wine.

    • Note that you might also be eligible for a couple of free Riedel glasses (https://www.penfolds.com.au/riedel/Home/LandingPage)…. Ah. Sorry. Just checked - needed to spend $250 or more on the Bin 28 and the 6 pack is $240. Bummer.

      • Man, back in the day I did that deal at $16 a bottle for Bin 28. Got some nice Shiraz glasses.

  • +3

Looks like a great deal for the wine drinkers out there! Shame I am not one of them…

    • You and me buddy

    • They used to have a small selection of beer and cider too. Not anymore by the looks of it 😢

  • +4

Mumm hits the 30,000 points price break but still under $300
    https://www.cellarmasters.com.au/sparkling/sparkling-blends/…

Pretty good, as mostly when on special it's still $42.50. Currently $263.40 in Dan's QLD, so for under $40 for $150 WW credit or 15k QFFP well worth it.

    • Says out of stock, but bought anyway here using my dog’s rewards card. Thanks!

  • Anyone know how long bonus points take to credit?

  • "Available exclusively to Woolworths rewards members selected for this offer". How do you know if your selected?

    • +1

By seeing if you receive points after your purchase

Edit:but seriously - usually if you're not targeted the promo code won't work before checkout

      • You can enter the code successfully without even putting in a woolies rewards number …

  • Definitely targeted. Says for members selected for this offer.

  • For those that have purchased. did the Woolworths reward points get credited immediately for you?
The code applied during checkout for me but not showing on my points balance as yet.

    • by 1 Nov.

    • I saw the code applied but not keen to roll the dice on not getting the points. Let us know if you get them.

  • -2

It's Targeted, code didn't take anything off for me.

    • +1

what is the code supposed to "take off"?

    • it's free delivery only, no discount

  • +3

Don't forget you can pay with WISH cards for additional discount

  • easy QFF points !

    • Am I right in thinking that if you don't convert to QFF you are valuing your QFF at $0.01 each? (2000 WR = $10 = 1000 QFF)

  • Looks like I got the targeted email.. pretty generous offer!

  • Targeted

Promo code can only be used on wine case purchases (excludes single bottles, twin packs) and cannot be redeemed on beer, cider or spirits. Promo code cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer (including but not limited to Buy 2 Get 1 Free and Click Frenzy offers). Note bonus points and free delivery are only available to Woolworths Rewards members who have been sent this offer

  • I didn't get the email but it lets me apply the code on the case of Moet.

Not sure if I would be eligible for the 30k points though.

    • +1

If you didn't get the email then you won't receive the points according to the T's and C's

  • Got the email but not a wine drinker

  • Thanks OP got the e-mail but not sure I would have noticed it.

    Got Bin 28 (6 for $240) + Blass Shiraz (6 for $72) = $312.

    $312 - CashRewards $17.47 back - $150 worth of points = $144.53 for 6 bottles of Bin 28 ($28/bottle) and 6 free don't care bottles of WB.

    Love it! :-)

    • +1

I think there's no cashback with this offer according to t&c's but still a good deal.

      • +1

Well, I got the "Congratulations you've got $17.47" e-mail from Cashrewards saying it was tracking…

        • Usually it'll be rejected down the track but fingers crossed that you're lucky.

          • @zoob: OK thanks good to know - will consider it a "bonus" if I get it! :-)

    • Yeah because using code bonuspoints cash back won’t track will it?

      • In general unless they state otherwise (like some of TA's Lenovo codes) Cashrewards wont apply if you use a discount code for most (all?) sellers

It could slip through and never hurts to activate just in case

    • +1

      https://www.penfolds.com.au/riedel/Home/LandingPage.

check this out if you are after bin 28 mate.

I am not very good with min-maxing and wine is fairly subjective anyway, but went with:
Hide And Seek Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2018 for $120 save $143.88.
Right Side Of The Tracks Coonawarra Shiraz 2016 for $179 save $146.

Comes in at exactly $299, with paper saving of $189.88.

So $488.88 worth of wine for $149 (after $150 woolworths rewards) or $6.21 per bottle.

Both being South Australian was a plus for me.

  • +1

This is targeted offer. Even the promo code entered, it is not guaranteed to get the points.

    • This is under $300

  • Do you think the general catalogue buy 2 get 1 free counts as not complying with: “Promo code cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer (including but not limited to Buy 2 Get 1 Free and Click Frenzy offers).”
    https://www.cellarmasters.com.au/catalogue
Purchasing on this allows me to include the promo code and go through to payment. But will jut go on the general site if this not likely to work.

    • Sounds pretty clear that buy 2 get 1 free is excluded. Why would you think it’s not?

Of course, it may slip through, they may not have checks, etc so it might all work out for you.

    • Yeah I don’t think you will get points on buy two get one free, I think that the code can be applied but they will rely on terms

      • Fair enough, just the code was working, thought it would deny the code, but sounds like a decent chance it will be rejected on a review later? Thanks

    • I think you'll be fine, there's no code for the free case which is auto added into cart.
      It's a even better bargain.
I used to get cashback when Cellarmasters had $150 off $300 purchase & buy 2 get 1 free.

Nov 1. Anyone’s points landed in account yet?

    • Not yet. My dog is getting anxious.

      • I’d be anxious if everyone else got and not me

  • +1

Also waiting on points…Woolworths online Rewards support claiming they SHOULD appear by COB today.

Maybe they are underpaying with Rewards Points also :)

  • +1

    My points just turned up.

    • +1

Thanks! Mine too . True to their word - 1 Nov

    • 30k point hit on 1st Nov

  • Got my 3K Qantas points OP. Thanks for the heads-up. Sweetest wine deal ever.
