Lenovo Thinkpad L380 Laptop $799.20
It baffles me why Lenovo still puts such poor quality displays in a lot of their laptops…
I don't know how to feel about a ThinkPad that isn't black. It seems so wrong
Also does not state it has back lit keyboard, only mentions it as an option.
Why would you buy a Lenovo laptop with a screen resolution of 1366x768 for $800, when TA often has better quality devices at a lower price?
That price and that resolution don't go together :\
That resolution is a deal breaker. The Acer Aspire 5 for $516+ del gives you 1920x1080, 15.6", a backlight keyboard, 128GB SSD and 4GB DDR4. There is a free 2.5" slot, the M.2 SSD is upgradable and has a unused 2nd RAM slot. The keyboards on Lenovos are said to be fantastic but with no backlghting whats the point?

Why do you feel backlighting the keyborad is so crucial to a good laptop? I find that I'm not productive when typing in the dark on a backlit keyboard (Thinkpad Yoga X1). I end up turning on a lamp anyway or waiting for a better situation.
The point is, from their point of view, a cheap business laptop is probably used 99% of the times NOT in the dark.
People are forgetting this is 13.3inch
Yeah, honestly 1366x768 isn't too bad at that size.
The 15.6 inch turns out to be 141PPI and the 13.3 inch is 118PPI.
You're right, not that big of a difference.
