    maybe amazon will price match?

  • $64 in WA

    • No 10c per can tax in WA.

      • +1

It's not actually a tax. It's the CDS incentive to get you to recycle the container. (You get the 10¢ back when you take the container to an appropriate refund point.) It's starting in WA on 2nd June 2020, with a 24 month transition period.

        • Think he was being clever in the differential being closer to 24 x 10c. Mind you, has anyone found a rise in price since introduction of 10c schemes?

          • @pensionday: In NSW the scheme is 18c deposit 10c refund. The prices did go up but they round up to the nearest dollar

          • @pensionday: Yes DM ACT prices increased.

        • OK then. 10c partially refundable tax in NSW.
          And don't assume my gender😜

    • And in TAS & VIC. (I've updated the deal.)

More so that this beer tastes super different within 6-odd months off BB date. I ended up taking a batch back to Dan Murphy's, after multiple issues over a few months. The manager blind taste tested old VS new with me. She used the words "foul" to describe it. After that Asahi got in touch with me directly - and picked up cans from my house. They also agreed on taste and sent me heaps of merch. Generally I avoid this beer within 6 months.

    • Umm there's Asahi breweries scattered all over Japan. Export is from all over the country. I used to live nexto the plant in Suita, Osaka and routinely went there for free tours/booze. I've not yet grown a third arm.
