Some people are selling their Netflix "Family" account on OZB classifieds. As far I as know every user will use the same login and password, right? So would I be correct to assume there's no guarantee I will get interrupted viewing, because it depends on how many simultaneous screens are active? (e.g. Premium plan has 4 screens max).

Yep basically an honor system.
So how much do you trust the honor of your fellow strangers is the question that is up to you.
Been doing for couple of months never seen any issues.
It's only $15 a month or so to get your own.
Price is good, buy I would lose the list of shows already watched. Very annoying.
Didn't think of that. Kinda always swapped around with free trials using Gmail hack that I hadn't worried.
@jsb: Using PayPal or Netflix gift card from deals
If you try to watch, and there’s too many people watching already, you get a message
I am sharing with 3 other "strangers". The "owner" of the account has setup 4 different profile, obviously 1 for himself, and the other 3 profiles for 3 other ozbargainers.
I only get into my own profile, so I only see my own list of movies
The condition of the sharing is that each of us can only view one screen at a time, and I have never had more than one screening at any one time. I only ever watched very late at night, and occasionally during the day on weekends, and I have never had any problem.
From memory, I am already six months into this shared arrangmement and it has been great so far.
Out of curiosity, how much do you pay?
$54 a year. This would have been based on the Australian price of $17.99 per month for the Family Plan, which would come to $4.50 a month per person, hence $54 a year.
Thanks. Sounds like a good deal and a win-win for everyone.
I have on problems with honor system. I am sharing a spotify family account already with a stranger, but every user gets their own login. I am thinking of accidental over-usage, e.g. another (real) family member using a second screen simultaneously by mistake.
*no problems
If there are any problems such as you can't view because the screens have been used, can't you just pull out of that agreement and at most lose about $6ish for that month?
I think to make it convenient for everyone the account holder sells a spot 12months at a time, not month-on-month.
If its your account log out all users, then just change the password for the account.
It is trust based. Besides it is the simplest people can comply with. If you cannot even do that, I am more sad about that person than I am worried about my interrupted viewing.
