If you don't require VPN to specific country but need privacy for traffic on your phone. You do need to change settings from DNS only to DNS with WARP on the app for VPN to work.

This isn't a VPN service (for practical purposes), it's a DNS service. You should read their disclaimer first:

Isn't "Warp" just changing your DNS to 1.1.1.1, you don't need an app for that.
Can't you just set dns to adguard? Through your settings

This is the most useless thing I've ever seen…it's also incredibly misleading, this is not a VPN. You can accomplish the same thing for free, without installing a crappy app - by just changing your DNS.
It should be noted that this VPN isn't specifically designed for privacy. Your IP is still visible.
