Hey guys,
Just spreading the word the above diesel vehicles 2012 to 2018 have been recalled for engine problems which pose a safety risk.
I have a 2013 Mazda 6 and last week it got warning lights indicating engine problem. It is at the garage and I was looking at hefty repair fees, lucky now its recalled hopefully Mazda Australia will cover the service.

Got to hand it to Mazda it only took their mechanics engineers and other experts 7 years to work out they had a problem.
Nothing like staying ahead of the market game isn't ford rangers made by mazda or vice versa
Have heard of turbos being replaced outside warranty few years back. Guessing the issue finally became more widespread
Mazda recalling 35,000 plus cars and ACCC taking action. Wonderful EGR valve again.

Those last 2 item on the list are a real worry if you need to get out of a situation on the road and it happens.
