It's probably about as good as any other toothpaste as far as cleaning and hopeless at whitening like any other toothepaste.
Says expiring soon but doesn't say when.
must be too short
Does it? I can't see it.
First line of the description
doesn't say it on the 12 pack, but surely must be the same
@WillisAU: Yeah I looked at that too. It is on it NOW.
what happens if you use expired toothpaste?
I recently bought Sensodyne Toothpaste from Reject Shop (I think Aussie/NZ Made) for $3 a pop and the expiry is till April 2020
However I think this might have even shorter expiry dates
Very low RDA (good). Uses Sodium tripolyphosphate to whiten - supposedly works by binding to calcium complex of stains, but at least there's an active ingredient with some studies behind it. Has Potassium nitrate for sensitivity - not their famed Novamin, but at least there is something that works for sensitivity. Also no SLS - people prone to ulcers will probably like this one, but those used to foaming toothpastes will find the cream feel a bit bizarre.
TL;DR It's a decent toothpaste, but hold your expectations regarding its whitening abilities.
What are your thoughts on White Glo?
Always get ulcers with White Glo. As does my partner. I'd steer clear.
Im currently using Pearl Drops instant boost (pink toothpaste) I got from The Reject Shop for $3 and its done an amazing job getting rid of tough stains
have you tried Vanish?
@Anonymous101: Only on my clothes…
Looks good, however anything that's $3 worries me. Fixing teeth are very expensive! I'm super paranoid tho, some people have amazing strong teeth their whole life.
Can't find very much info about it online re RDA - the professional range claims low abrasiveness. The original one I saw a long time back was very abrasive.
None of the listed ingredients in the professional range seem to chemically lighten teeth, and the presence of fruit oil and calcium carbonate raises my eyebrows as to what they're trying to market.
It does contain SLS, which can contribute to ulcer formation in some people.
With the below mentioned Pearl Drops, again it appears to be an abrasiveness based product.
Literally anything which whiteners teeth will be abrasive, no?
If you find something which works that isn't, let me know 😂
@[Deactivated]: Well, there's physical and there's chemical whitening - much like physical and chemical exfoliation products for the skin. :P
As mentioned, the linked product has a very low RDA (from what I could find online), and uses a chemical whitening agent.
I personally just bleach with custom trays, and attend six monthly to have calculus removed. The vast majority of people who pursue whitening products should be looking at regular hygiene appointments (a lot of "stain" is actually just crap on their teeth) as well as ensuring their restorations are flush with their teeth such that things don't get stuck at the join points.
That, and brushing more thoroughly, really. It's why oil pulling "works" - because people are actually paying diligent attention to their teeth and rinsing and brushing thoroughly for once.
FYI: Why Does Toothpaste Expire, and Is It Safe to Continue Using It?

Is expired toothpaste safe to use?
It’s not necessarily dangerous to use expired toothpaste, but it’s also not beneficial.
The whole point of toothpaste is to use a quality product that effectively cleans your teeth and prevents cavities. Neither is guaranteed to happen if you use old toothpaste.
Expired toothpaste may:
contain less-effective fluoride
be dried out
contain separated ingredients
have an inconsistent texture
contain growing bacteria or fungi
Hmmm could use this as thermal paste.
If you're needing this much thermal paste you're either doing it wrong, or you can use the (often free with aftermarket CPU coolers) included thermal paste. Or you can afford to fork out some change for a tube of thermal paste.
But since this was likely sarcasm, at least I hope: lol.
anyone know when expiry is?
I will tell you when mine arrives.
I think whatever toothpastes you are using is better than an expired SENSODYNE toothpaste
Price seems good but I'd rather just visit Aldi or the reject shop
aldi is $6 each last time i checked
buy this and then thank me.
you lost me after Vegan tooth paste, also after I've seen the price lol no thanks. Neutrafluor tooth paste is expensive enough for me.
What's wrong with the prices?
Toothpastes are 5-6 AUD.
I personally wouldn't pay 6 dollars for "fancy" tooth paste not to mention shipping unless if you spend more than 32 Aud, Also wouldn't support a company who claims their tooth paste can restore enamel especially without any fluoride.
@Tehcookiemonsta: Supermarket brands are not any better but to each their own or course.
@baldur: Just stating the fact that marketing is providing false information however obviously if you like it then more power to you.
Wtf is very short expiry as if they don't list any examples such as 3 months etc..
Baldur, thanks for the link. I ordered some toothpastes to try and the foam, tney sound great.
Don't Pay $155.88
Yeah right.
expired date: Oct. 2019
Thanks for that, indeed very short.
Brush 5 times a day, and get the family to do it too.
Thanks OP!
Is it just me or did they increase the prices?? 1 for $4, 2 for $6 and 6 for $15?
Same here.
ditto
This stuff any good?
