OP - previously saffron you sold here for ~$5.5 for 1gm and this one is $9.5 per 1gm. You may like to take this into consideration as being common person would not bother whether its from Iran or Kashmir.
Thank you for the comment. This is Kashmiri saffron which is different from other saffron we have posted here. Due to the small amount of harvest each year in the Kashmir area, the price for the good quality Kashmiri saffron is very high. They normally go for $14 - $22 per gram.
We have found a farmer that is willing to work with us and provide great quality saffron with affordable price.
Is this better than Persian high grade saffron?
It is from a different region. It is more of a personal choice. Kashimiri saffron tend to have more colour than Persian saffron.

I'm sure they will give you 1kg for $899.95 if you ask nicely.
The price of Persian high-grade saffron in Iran is roughly 650 AUD per kg.
