Just like before, this RGB goodness DDR4 3200Mhz RAM (great for Ryzen) but even cheaper than before if you're willing to order from Amazon US through the Australian store.
Alternatively, the Australian store has it for $143.41.

Don't bother. Unless you need more, 32GB is already overkill for most users. And you'd be better off waiting for another 32GB kit of what you have anyway. Generally best not to mix ram kits.
It's more just that damn FOMO temptation when you see a really good price on something even though you have absolutely no need for! It's ok, I'll be good and save the money for something more worthwhile :)
Save it and put it towards your next GPU upgrade.
showing $177 for me
Looks like sale price is over in the US and now both Amazon US and AU direct have reverted to original pricing :(
oh also you'd need to verify if this RAM is AMD certified - for example the 32GB kit (2x16GB) has two different model numbers - CMW32GX4M2Z3200C16 and CMW32GX4M2C3200C16.
The CMW32GX4M2Z3200C16 is certified while the CMW32GX4M2C3200C16 is not (and is slightly cheaper). Some people with the CMW32GX4M2C3200C16 have reported in various forums that their RAM has occasional issues with their AMD system.
Ryzen is a lot more picky than Intel platforms. I checked CMW32GX4M2C3200C16 being on the QVL for Gigabyte X570, bought off Amazon for 268. Still ended up having issue with standard XMP profiles not passing memtest86.
Took a bit of fiddling around with manual settings and passed with flying colours.
I got V4.32, which is supposed to be binned Samsung B-Die.
What really? Now there's a certification requirement or else the kit won't work?? What happened to just sticking any old ram, regardless brand, model, timings or and speed to any board as long as the board supports whatever stick type, and it just works?
Where's this AMD certification chart or list….? I'm guessing Intel will have one too, no?
I think it's more a case of certified to work rather than not certified means it won't work. Then there's also XMP.
I miss the old days too of easily chucking in a RAM stick to get an instant boost to performance but nowadays even if you know model number/specs of the RAM, it could be B-Die or something else which has ramifications for overclock potential.
As for where is the certification chart, I think it varies by motherboard manufacturer. MSI publishes theirs on their specs website - that's how I checked RAM was compatible for my X570 board.
Ah, you must be referring to the QVL or Qualified Vendor Listing where they've tested various sticks and know they definitely work with the board with the respective AMD CPU. So I guess they're now more important than ever to check that out before buying ram for your board!
@Zachary: I’m sad no one noticed my “ramifications” pun :(
@jace88: Oh….I didn't even notice it…thought it was a real word….which it is: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/ramification

goodness
yikes
I previously bought the 2x16GB kit of same 3200MHz CL16 Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro for my Ryzen 3700X setup and am debating if I want to mix and match it with this 2x8GB kit for total 48GB RAM. Not sure how picky the X570 MEG ACE motherboard will be with supporting two different pairs of RAM even if they're same brand… but probably not worth the hassle/risk given my 32gb isn't really a bottleneck. May as well save the money for next build :)
