Front Fan in Leaper Pro Case from Techfast Not Spinning

I recently purchased a PC from techfast, it arrived around 2 weeks ago and yesterday I noticed that the lower fan at the front of the case lights up with its RGB lighting, but the fan won't spin. It won't spin on boot, when browsing, or when in game. If it's broken, I'm happy to replace it (never done that before but it looks quite easy on youtube videos etc).

My question is - How do I get in to the front of the case to remove it? Its screwed in it's 4 corner from the front inwards to the case. I'm also not sure if it's plugged into the motherboard, the psu, or both as the wiring is quite tight, and I've tried hard to avoid unplugging components that don't need to be touched.

If anyone has experience in doing this I'd love to hear how you did it etc.

Thanks!

  • Forgot to mention - If there's a simple way I can troubleshoot this to potentially just fix the fan, that'd obviously be my preference!

It's under warranty, just take/send it back to be fixed by techfast.

If you aren't 100% sure of what you are doing you may do more harm than good - and void your warranty.

  • I'd ask techfast first. It could be normal, as it is your fan settings that are keeping it off.

The fan probably isn't even connected. Just looking at the Techfast versus Wal-Mart PC build video, I think the fan likely uses the old-skool molex connectors

    Molex connectors look like this

The fan will have these and they will need to be wired directly to the power supply unit. It's common for Techfast to forget connecting these because well, they need to build things fast :)
