Best External Storage for PS4

So I've officially run out of space on my 500gb PS4 and am in need of extra storage so I can play my backlog of games. I wanted to know what extended storage others have bought for their PS4 and what the best options are before I buy. I know pondering over what PS4 storage to buy shouldn't be this difficult, but I thought I might as well see what the OZBargain community uses/thinks is best. Thanks :)

  You should just swap out the internal drive. Its very easy to do and much cleaner than having an external always connected.

    I mean, I'm happy having an external connected otherwise I would do that. Also seeing as I'm not techie, it might not be wise!
