" **Buyers please read; this is a cash on local pick up or if you want posted via registered post please checkout on eBay via direct bank deposit option at cart. I am wanting to sell quickly! "
Seems legit
The receipt says purchased 29th Sept, they could literally just return it for the full 2k. 100% a scam.
He has removed the receipt from the images now…. guess the questions asked made him realsie people are savvy
Another thing was the seller doesn't accept Paypal. Only cash on delivery or direct bank deposit. Hmm
The receipt is for a gold model too.
Looks like the seller bought 2.
Looks a bit dodgy to me. Why would they sell it so cheap ?
Ah silly me, didn't see the second one on there.
paraneolastic is correct, they could return it for a full refund at Apple but instead they're trying to sell it at a significant loss? Dodgy to me.
The midnight green one has a "return date" of 13/10/19 …what's tat about…?
Also, bought from Apple Miranda, but selling in Newcastle - that's a bit of a hike, why not buy local?
Bargain grab it !
Looks like a pro seller bought 9 $1 items for some feedback :)
I bet it falls lol .
Does iPhone boxes come in plastic wraps?
I PM'd the seller just to sus them out.
Responses were
I then said its only been 6 days and the return day is two weeks
Basically story doesn't add up and they didn't think this through. 700 down the drain just because you're too lazy.
Scam.
I think IF the phone matches the serial / part other identification on the receipt you should have no problems .
Unless they report it stolen after the sale and get another one from their insurance.
I messaged them they thought return was only 7 days as they had already swapped once. They are returning to Apple, listing ended, believe it or not. Would of been a bargain for someone nearby that new what they were doing via checks.
I am starting to find people are selling items which they don't even possess. In the mean time they have your money to play with, until you cotton on and seek a refund. I think eBay is aware of this scam and that the FAKE sellers have found a quick way in which to obtain cash, which ties them over for a week or three,
First rule of eBay - if you have to ask if somethings dodgy…..
