What's a Nice Watch for around $500

Hi I have some money left over from a trip and would like to use it to buy a nice watch. Any recommendations? Thanks.

    Seiko skx007 or skx009 are nice divers with respectable movements. Looks especially nice with a nato IMO.

    $20 casio digital + $430 xiaomi 9t with world clock and video player to remind you of the trip + $50 welcome home steak

    also gonna mention reptime where people spend similar amounts for some pretty amazingly nice looking replicas of far more expensive watches
    they've got rolex replicas these days that are almost indistinguishable next to a genuine on the outside, and even copy the movement inside. pretty crazy, though they can be pretty expensive themselves

    You can look at the Seiko Presage Model. It is currently $450 at Angus and Coote the original price was $850. It is not a bad watch, has the Seiko 4R36 Automatic movement and looks quiet nice in my opinion.

    Seriously, save your money. Nice watches cost multiples of that. At $500 you are buying a $50 watch with a massive mark up. Probably the best watch at that kind of cost is an Apple Watch.

      That's nonsense. There are plenty of decent watches in the sub-$500 mark. Just don't buy into the whole new-wave "minimalist" fad like Daniel Wellington quartz watches and you'll be fine. I'd personally be looking at a Seiko automatic for that price.

    I just bought the Hugo Boss Intensity from The Iconic last week. I love it. And they're still offering it for 25% off. In this price range, its actually extremely good quality.

      It's not though, is it? It's a clothing brand that has paid a random mass market watch manufacturer to stick their logo on it. The watch is probably worth $50 tops, regardless of what you paid.
