Ask your doctor/health fund and report back..cheers.
Health fund usually doesnt cover Lasik unless you have a very high extra's cover in some cases, but its also something you dont want to mess with so you would go with the best which i beleive can be anywhere between 2-2.5k per eye … from memory :) i didnt go down that route and now im a bit too old to bother hahaha
Health funds will give you a princely 200 back on lasik.
@furyou: not even each eye… lol
I was waiting for this deal. Thanks a lot OP.
As per this deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/485372) I found Quicklens to be cheaper, even with the $50 discount, and there isn't as high a minimum spend.
Can you use your healthfund with this? Or do you have to claim after you buy it?
There's an option to pay with Medipass but from my experience it's better to claim afterwards. I don't know how the Medipass calculates it, I think it has limit per the item instead of bulk so it's always giving me a lot of gap to pay.
Still waiting for their yearly ‘free polarised lens on second frame’ offer
Well wait no longer. I just got the email saying the deal is back. Valid between 3 October and 4 November.
Cheers I got the same email too! Lol coincidence???
I just posted offer up too!
Anyone else got marketing phone calls from Specsavers this morning?
Please add contact lenses only to the title. Currently it implies all products, including glasses (which presumably are not applicable).
How do you get cashback when you get glasses?
I'm guessing you get your eye test done in store and a printed prescription (free, bulk billed). Select your glasses. Then go online and submit the numbers from your prescription.
Why don't they do Dailies Total 1 online??
When does this offer end?
OMG, have you ever seen a slower website?
How much for lasik
