I don't think I've heard of anyone on here that actually pays for a second month on these deals… sim swap ftw. Maybe people on belong, with referrals…maybe.
I realise this’s been asked before but I’m not sure I’ve read a definitive response: does data from this plan roll over when recharging with a 12 month voucher?
It "kind of" rolls over:
Correct me if I am wrong…
* if I use 35Gb in the first 28 days nothing will roll over
* If I use 25Gb in the first 28 days only 5 gig will roll over
Is data roll over always 28 days even with 6 and 12 months?
My month ends tomorrow - the 15GB bonus data was used first.
So, if data does still roll over into 6/12mth plans, for your example of using 35GB in the first month, you'd have 10GB roll-over valid for 28 days before you starting into your 12mth data allocation. And if you used 15GB or less in the first month, 30GB would roll over.
I'll be finding out tomorrow if my little remaining data rolls over and if I squandered it for nothing.
@Thrift: You hopping to a 6/12 month plan?
@0jay: Yup, got the 12mth $135 Coles deal. After reading about the possible change to data roll-over for 6/12mth plans on Whirlpool, I used 43GB with 2GB remaining so as not to risk it. I'll post tomorrow with the results of the recharge.
@Thrift: Very curious to hear how you go
@0jay: Data did not roll over, it retains its original expiry. However, it is not lost after applying the 12mth recharge as some reports suggest.

@Thrift: Aha, no surprise then. Ta for letting us know.
Thanks.
