Teco Buy and Toby Deals are the same company. Items listed on Toby Deals include postage costs. Items listed on Teco Buy do not include postage, which is a minimum +$15. So your link actually works out more expensive.

    • They are more when you include shipping.

Ok pricing but these gen 3 Mixamps have a metallic reverb from their inbuilt Dolby surround processing - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtNF1i2eSwg

Astro's gen 1 and gen 2 Mixamps have great surround processors if you prefer surround over stereo.

The new gen 4 mixamps have the same issue so if you prefer surround sound, use the PC/Box/PS4 emulated surround sound send rather than a Mixamp's inbuilt processing.

I use Turtle Beach's DSS2 on Xbox and prefer it over a gen 1 or gen 2 Mixamp.

    • Wouldn’t the turtle beaches use the same Dolby version as the older mixamps ? I know some turtle beaches also have the metallic reverb sound, I think they were using the same version as the TR’s when they released.

Wouldn’t recommend anyone buy Astro TR stuff.. better off trying to get one of their older mixamps off eBay, the sound is much better

  • Do they come with a split 3.5mm connection for mic and headphones?
