I haven't been keeping up with gog sales and how deep they commonly discount is there chance for this to go any lower in your opinion to say like 75% in the next few years or is 50% off pretty much the best discount for gog I see some titles get 90% off but they are usually games nobody really wants sometimes might see a 75% off but generally 50% off.

Steam has been pretty good with my policy now waiting for 75% or higher minimum unless it is one of the few rarely discounted games but even then I have a theory everything goes to 75% off or higher in just enough time.

    • Hmm, that is a bit like looking into a crystal ball.
I have not seen this game in sales very often but maybe I just overlooked it.
According to ITAD it was $3.88 on 25 January 2018 (which was also 50% off) so it seems this is a pretty good price and that it does not seem to go on discount too often.
It is also available on GOG only, not on Steam.
So, if you have any intention to play it in the next 6-10 months or so maybe it would be worthwhile buying it. Otherwise, there is a chance it is on sale again in the next 12-18 months.

This was the last game from Sierra using the same 2D engine as seen in Caesar 1-3, Zeus and Pharaoh.
Good game, spent probably 100 hours in this.

My favourite of the series. If I recall correctly it had “multiplayer” in the sense that you could verse your opponent to see who could build a wonder first (each on your own map)?
