Amaysim Issues with Groupon Code

In May I purchased one of those "8 1Gb renewals for $10" deals. I redeemed it, followed the steps, but have only just recently learned that "something went wrong" and I've been billed $10 per month.

Amaysim are asking for the code, which I can't access as it has expired on the Groupon website.

Anyone have any experience with this, and know the best way to get Amaysim to honour the deal?

It was a while ago, so whilst I don't recall the exact steps I took, I do recall following them carefully.

  • I believe the voucher codes are unique to each person.
    You should be able to see your voucher code (even if it has expired) by going to:
    https://www.groupon.com.au/mystuff

    Select expired in the pull down list & then view the appropriate voucher.

  • ideally amaysim should not ask for code again since i believe you used the unique code for initial sign up for the service. they should have details in the system. it happened to me last year and they fixed the issue without any drama.
    anyway as suggested by Gaz1 the voucher code can be downloaded from Groupon.

  • I'm about to redeem my voucher. I'm a bit worried after reading this.

    How common is this issue?

    At least two people here have been affected?
