Hey, my Samsung S8 has a crack in the screen and the battery life is shot, what's the cheapest way to get it sorted out or is it better to sell it as is?

I sold my S8 with a smashed back panel for $310 two months ago.
Yeah sadly it's front screen
I can't imagine the repair being cheap, but would you be prepared to replace it?
As above I had a similar situation but I could afford to replace it. Got an S10 for $876.85, still available at that price.Even if you have it repaired, it's past the optimal lifespan of 2 years.
Maybe someone here can give an idea of what cost we're looking at for a battery and screen replacement.I replaced my s7 battery but it's still shit.
ask Samsung first, I've heard they drop the price for repair since s8.
Seems to be pretty high, wonder if I could swing a refurb on the cheap from them, unsure if worth the hassle of going in, fired a email off re warranty to see
then go for a new one, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/491152
Yeah I'm gonna do that trying to flog it off atm as is
Can get a refurbished S8 from kogan etc for $380.
Doubt you get a new battery and screen for that
Anyone had much luck getting a refurb phone from Samsung for free?
It s 250 dollars for a screen for a s8, from samsung. My charging port is damaged too, so really it would have been about 350 bucks. I got a new phone. Annoying, but hey… I got new phone, complete with new battery. There are not that many options for cheap screens out there, probably due to the rounded edge. You can get bulky cases that Include a battery, but the s8 is pretty old, you can get better specs for less than the repair cost nowadays. Such is technology .
Yeah I'm just selling it no point paying 250 one month away from no warranty
S6… might be a tricky fit.
Yeah. Big hammer needed
.
No one is gonna buy a 2nd hand 2yr old phone when people can get a new $200-$400 android. As for repairing it, just get a new one.
You might get $50 from the scrappers.
