Seems like an exceptional price for a 2TB HDD. You can barely by the drive alone for this, let alone with an enclosure (albeit only USB 2.0).
Delivery for me came up as $12, so I expect it would be between $10 and $15 for most. Even a hundred bucks delivered isn't a bad price. Or pickup in store (locations in VIC, NSW, ACT and QLD by the looks of things).

Only problem with these units advertised as being designed for backups, is that they rarely feature an on/off switch. Any knowledge on whether it will spindown when not in use? The cheap enclosures usually don't, and it can wear the motor out, especially if its connected all the time
Great price though, it was only april that this was 108 at bigw. In all probability this contains a WD green drive, so even if it turns out to be a dud, your basically buying the drive and getting the enclosure free.
HT also have a 500gb 2.5" external for $42, which is quite good as well.
Where is this $42 500gb 2.5" drive you speak of please?
