Moved to Forum: Original Link

Released last week, this is a free resource of 100 000 diverse faces generated by AI, currently offered for non-commercial use, as long as a link back to generated.photos is placed on the page, post, or project.

Hello new friends from Facebook and Instagram! lol

What can it be used for?
Here's a statement from the developers,
"All of our training data was shot in-house and is fully model released. No images were pulled from stock media or scraped from the internet…

Have your next mockup, presentation or website looking great with these fresh faces. No copyrights, royalties, or other legal issues to worry about!
Everything is free to use as long as you include link attribution back to https://generated.photos, so that more people can find us.

Have fun and let us know what you make!

What do these faces look like?
Scroll down this page to see a selection of faces generated by AI. Very impressive indeed.

Where can I download all the 100 000 images?
You can view and download all the images on googledrive. Images are single files within folders which can be zipped for downloading.

  • God damn some of these are creepy. Some of them have cancerous growths too.

    • Could easily pass as the guy/girl next door, right? lol

    • Gives us an idea what replicants born of the machine will look like.

  • Where does it say non-commercial only?

    • Found it in the faq.
A bit misleading when the product hunt post I saw the other day said: “We have put together a free resource of 100k faces for you to use however you wish”.

      • Agreed, it's very misleading. They seem to have changed their public statements somewhere in the last 10 days.

  • I’d tap some of them

    • The website address is kind of misleading.
What if one of these AI generated faces actually looked exactly like someone.
      Then that person does exist.

  • -1

Finally scammers can stop ripping off facebook profile images and start using AI generated people that definitely look real in their profiles.

    Oh wait …

  • Teeth don't line up with the nose.
