So as we are approaching the end of 2019 and the conversations are starting, what's your personal game of the year for 2019?
For me so far I think it's been Astral Chain. I was a big fan of the Bayonetta Titles on Wii U and wasn't expecting as much out of Astral Chain, but I think it has surpassed Bayonetta for me.
Second place goes to Super Mario Maker 2 and special mentions to Untitled Goose Game and My Friend Pedro.
Other than that, most titles I've played this year have been older games I've been catching up on so to speak, that I've never played before as they've been released on Switch. (E.g. Hellblade, Doom (1993), What Remains of Edith Finch, Red Faction Guerilla).
I've not played much else outside of Switch releases this year as you can probably tell, but I'm interested to see what other people rate from the other platforms :)
